For example, you might want to set up an \ alias called "Finance" and assign as its value all the login \ names for all the people in the Finance department. \ When you want to send mail to everyone in that department, \ you can address the mail to "Finance" instead \ of typing all the login names. You can also set up an alias that has an alias or group of \ aliases for its value. For example, in addition to "Finance" you could also set up an \ alias called "Purchasing" and assign as its value all the login \ names for all the people in the purchasing department. Then you \ could set up an alias called "All" and assign as its value \ "Finance Purchasing". When you address mail to "All", mail is \ sent to everyone in both departments.
